Thoughts Of The Day

• I'm convinced that headscarf wearing girl is a nutcase. I saw her again on the train this morning, but didn't keep to my word of telling her she was still wearing her scarf. She must really think her anorexic 3 inch ponytail is worth looking a complete fool over. It was tied worse today than yesterday. But her eyebrows are on point.
• My boss is having a half day today. Thank God.
• My boss's kids are coming here to meet him. I want to see if they are cute in person because those pictures on his desk... **screws up face** ETA: They are cute kids.
• I have that fostering meeting in Croydon tomorrow to see what it's all about, and if it's something I REALLY want to do.
• I can't wait to relax my hair and give it a decent trim tomorrow. It sure has been a while.
• Got to thinking after reading a blog yesterday about women in relationships and the C word, compromise. It has been in the long list of blog topics for a while and may just get on it over the next few days and blog away.
• I really need to get around to doing the holiday blog.
• I want to see Saw V again. I really enjoyed that movie.
• I bet I end up working more when my boss goes home in 2 hours. Or will I just blog extra hard?
• I'm convinced "He's just that not into me." **shrugs and let's it go**
• Wonders when you give people the information 3 days ago about the overseas trip that you're still left hanging? People want the hotel room I have spare, can I get an answer please? I'm not phoning to chase. I've done my bit. Thank goodness I listened to my mother and booked my flight and sorted my accommodation out with a quickness. If I didn't I'd still be waiting now with no place to stay.
• Is contemplating going to the LHCF meet up on the 29th? Should I make it an all dayer go bowling with them then raving with my sister. Or just bail and go raving will Elle? Whatever happens the ticket is paid for so I know I'll be raving regardless. My sister is the most fun person to party with.
• I want to go out tomorrow night but know it will be too cold and as much as I'm not a sponger I don't want to be getting any public transport in heels in November.
• I really don't like that girl that sits 2 seats away from me. Deep down I know she's intimidated by the confident and outspoken black girl [me]. Most white girls are.
• Just thought. I'm gonna go and see Max Payne tonight and see if I can fit in another movie too. Why not and make it a double bill.
• The flights have gone down to £426 for Thailand in February. If I go on the trip with Miss D n dem then I'll book last minute as I have no idea what my job plans are.
• Why can't this woman pick up her feet when walking? She's walking like she has a pair of damn slippers on. A woman that drags her feet.... *shakes head*
• Was just informed by Miss D that the trip would be more backpacker than Ritz Carlton and Langham that I just experienced. It's OK I can deal with that.
• I really need to clear out that spare bedroom over the weekend. Every damn weekend I say the same thing. Nothing changes.
• I'm elated that there will be a Saw VI [6]. I'll keep watching them 20 movies later. I love this movies franchise.
• Just made an appointment to meet with a consultancy. Got off my lazy arse and made the appointment for this afternoon than next week. Never a good idea to put things off, especially where money is concerned.
• I'm really happy that MySpace finally has an application for the Blackberry...about time too considering they are bigger than Facebook. Now I have something else to be addicted to on my flipping handheld device.
• The Blackberry Storm launches today on Vodafone. I'm on T-Mobile. WTF!!! I really want this phone and I don't want to be the odd one out and have an old model. I love you 8800 but it's time for an upgrade, I just don't want to pay for 2 contracts.
• My leg is still bothering me. I'm going to venture to the walk in clinic and see what they say. I want to get a scan. 2 weeks after my flight I shouldn't still be feeling discomfort. Something isn't right.
• What to have for lunch today? Fillet O Fish meal from McDonald's again perhaps?
• Got paid, the first pay since my holiday. Great!
• Had a meeting and was told as a result of cost cutting we have to downsize our hours, to around an hour less a day. May not sound like much but if you get paid anywhere between £25 and £40 an hour that's a fair bit of change. [Inserts evil squint here].
• I'm ready to be married and have children. I'm not desperate, not going out searching for a suitable husband or anything like that. I am patient whether it happens or not. I just know within myself if it came along I'm at a place in my life where I'm ready to make that next step in life.. I'll of course enjoy my independence in the meantime until that day.
