"Today Is My Day"

That's what this little middle aged man with an accent said in the lift this morning as he smiled at myself and some other guy who was going up one floor above me.

I thought "doesn't he mean today is NOT my day."

Or perhaps no.

Maybe he did actually mean "Today Is My Day." And before I got out on the 2nd floor decided I was going to look at it that way for myself today and going forward. I would adopt it as a new mantra for myself.

About 45 seconds later I got a call on my mobile, for another job interview lined up for Monday.

See, maybe today is MY DAY after all.
