Totally not with it and for not being able to read a flippin 24 hour clock, somehow I managed to think I was arriving home today and told my boss before I left I'd be coming back to work on November 5th. Well I really should be going back tomorrow on the 4th as I got back last night and had a full day [today] to get back on a GMT body clock, although they don't know I'm back already, so do I play naughty or nice. [inserts evil snicker here]Now do I spend another day at home or go into work tomorrow?
Only downside being, I don't get paid when I'm not in....Does it always have to be about the money though??
As I type this another call from a different agency to follow up on...I shouldn't complain at least I know when I'm ready to jump ship or are thrown off that I do have options.
I rushed back to work after my trip and was pretty much an invalid the weekend after i got back to become refreshed so i aint mad at you for taking an extra day off but if i was contracting i will probably be trying to make the extra dough also.
ReplyDeleteI am not even venturing in tomorrow. Yeah the $£$£ element is ringing in my head, but I just woke up to some god awful leg pain, and after taking 7 flights in less than 2 weeks I am not risking anything DVT related, so may go and get that checked out tomorrow because I do not want to be risking a damn thing.
