"The Market Doesn't Look Good"
Really? You don't say. If I hear that from one more consultant at an agency I am going to scream.
I'm the type of person who needs to be motivated. I am not motivated in this office where I type this blog from, nor the people that sit around me.
My contract is up in weeks [could even be days] as 60 people got laid off here this very week, and the job I interviewed for aren't even doing second interviews and are holding off until January to recruit. It's a sign of the Financial Times.
What next? Where to go? What to do?
I'm a person that needs to have a different day everyday a lil **clicks the fingers 3 times** quick, a lil fast paced, keeping me busy. I'll make on the spot decisions rather than carefully plan every bloody step. That doesn't excite me. I landed on Sunday night from Thailand and had no idea where I was going to travel next, I had Mexico in mind with a short hop across the border to Dallas for January, but ended up booking a flight to Baltimore this morning. And that's how I like it. A little uncertainty from time to time keeps me on my toes.
How about just getting out once and for all?
I remember seeing an ad in a paper when I was on an Air Asia flight "If English is your first language come and work for us teaching English." I'm the kind of girl who would pack up and go for a few months for a change and not be scared of the prospect in going. And may look into that too.
Yesterday I had two ideas, childminding from my home and becoming a foster parent. That's all I'm going to say. Sometimes too much talking does you no good, and I don't want to be that person who just chats and nothing happens. Whoever reads this blog will know of my plans, no more announcing to friends or family. Once it's done they'll know.
I'm going to look into both this weekend and keep my options open for the future. Any updates on these ideas I'll be sure to blog about and keep you posted.
