Well Done Little Sis!

She got the job I didn't even know she was applying for. Although I had an idea after her Facebook status was set to "has achieved what she set out to do." it just had to be job related. Never have I heard her so down about a job in a few months compared to the 5 years she was at the previous one.

• No work life balance.
• Meetings about meetings.
• No enthusiasm.

When I spoke to her the other day I told her that if she wasn't happy then to just up and leave even though she hasn't even been there for 6 months already it wasn't the point. When you know, you know.

If you have resentment or ill feeling about your job or the people in it then that's sure sign enough that it's time to move onwards and upwards. And that she has done. I really don't think she needed me to tell her that. By this point she had already started looking and had been on an interview, of which she got the contract in the post this morning confirming that the job was indeed hers.

Well she's upped her position and moving onto be a Junior Buyer for a company that provides the Jewellery for stores like French Connection, Next and other high street retailers. She told me that her soon to be new employers have just launched their own online retail store called The Earring Boutique, and that I may like some of the pieces they have on there. And boy do I!!! She's entitled to 80% discount, and I already have my eye on a few pieces. The earrings online range from £35 - £110.

Well good luck sis and congratulations. From the sounds of it this place sounds like the move you just may need.

Monday mornings are usually loathed. I bet yours will be a good one.
