Not a new video from the MC archives, but this is probably VERY unknown and about three years old.

In between Glitter and Precious Mariah has starred in two indie movies, Wisegirls and Tennessee. The latter is a film by Lee Daniels who also cast Mariah in Precious, a role originally meant for Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren.

I watched Tennessee for the first time yesterday and was happy to see Mariah in a respectable role which redeemed herself since the Glitter days. Unless you're in the indie film 'know' or a Mariah fan (like myself) then films like Wisegirls (where the acting slightly improved) or Tennessee which you may have never heard of.

[One of my favourite Pepsi commercials of ALL time]. If you haven't seen it, after watching it you may see why I said that. No frills, no fuss, just simple. New mother to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe Cannon, Mariah made an unannounced flying visit to the UK for a very private social gathering.

Mariah was looking fabulous just two months since giving birth to the twins. There is no word if the twins accompanied Mariah or were left back in the US with daddy Nick Cannon or family members. 

Mariah has stated she isn't into the 'nanny' thing but did have a baby nurse during the last stage of her pregnancy and I'm assuming shortly after the twins were born.

Pictures of Mariah Out & About Since Giving Birth to Her Twins

Superstar Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Actress/Diva/Hello Kitty Fan/Dog Owner/Wife & Mother Mariah Carey was snapped for the second time in Manhattan since giving birth to boy/girl twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe Cannon who were born on April 30th. 

People may think these are the first pictures of Mariah since the twins were born, but herself, Nick and the babies were photographed leaving the hospital in May.

I'm assuming due to Mariah carrying a lot of weight during her pregnancy and it being a multiple birth that she had a Cesarean section. Either Mariah really doesn't want to be seen too much or is still recovering and having discomfort from the operation just over two months ago. It's great that she up and about. She hasn't been seen out in public since the twins birth. I'm sure the exercise although mild is doing her the world of good.

I'm sipping tea as I write this. Yes folks...sipping tea. I am a lifelong fan, supporter of the diva and her work. I have been since the beginning of her career and always will be. I can, have and will be vocal about Mariah's work and have no problem stating my dislike for some of it. I'm certainly never biased when it comes to my opinion of anyone I admire in the media spotlight.

Monroe & Moroccan Scott Cannon were born on Mariah & Nick's 3rd Wedding anniversary two months ago on 30th April 2011.

Mariah & The Unborn Babies Get Festive For Easter

Superstar singer-songwriter Mariah Carey is really making the most of her pregnancy, and having as much fun with it as possible. 

Sporting her early trademark curls, Mariah posted the picture on Twitter celebrating Easter with an Easter egg painting of clouds, with a blue and pink heart for each baby Carey-Cannon which are due any day now. The official due date is said to be May 14th (according to husband Nick Cannon).

The most famous unborn babies, who already have been nicknamed by Mariah as 'dem babies' have yet to make their way into the world, but it seems that their parents Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are more than prepared for their arrival.

Mariah spoke to Life & Style magazine about the lavish nursery for her first two children, expected any day now.

"I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment for the babies," Mariah tells Life & Style in an exclusive interview. "Everything matches, but pieces are individualized to celebrate the twins as separate entities."

Mariah's favorite part of the twins' LA nursery? The cloudscape, star-speckled ceiling. "The ceiling has orangey-pink clouds in a blue sky with golden stars twinkling. It's based on two songs I wrote that are fan favorites: 'Underneath the Stars' and 'Close My Eyes,'" Mariah tells Life & Style. "Sometimes I just sit in the nursery and stare at the ceiling because I love it so much. To me, it symbolizes wanting my children to dream as big as possible and to let their imaginations be unbridled." Mariah also incorporated her favorite winged insects, butterflies, into the nursery and super-soft stuffed-animal lambs, what the singer endearingly calls her fans. 

 "Being a mother is probably the hardest job in the world. I feel like, in a lot of ways, children come into the world to teach us," Mariah says. "It's going to be a delicate balance between raising them around glitz and glamour and keeping them grounded. One thing I'm sure of is that I'll be grateful for the twins every day, no matter what."

Patiently waiting: Nick has already confirmed a May 14th due date for the babies.

No babies yet! But the nursery is ready!

I expected it to be very gaudy, but for all the millions that Nick & Mariah have combined I'm actually very impressed at how pretty and neutral it looks.

There's a love story behind Mariah Carey's latest anniversary gift, bought AND PAID for by her husband Nick Cannon.

On April 30th 2010 Mariah and Nick celebrated their 2nd year wedding anniversary and chose to renew their vows [again]. This will be an annual ritual for the loved up couple so in 12 months time you'll see the new pics and a new gift.

Nick proposed to Mariah with her 17 carat diamond ring disgusied in a ring pop candy wrapper.

Mariah then went on to write a song called Candy Bling which featured on her Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel album.

And that's how we get to the 'Candy Bling' anniversary gift from Nick to Mimi, in the short n sweet version [no pun intended].

Love it or hate it, I'm just happy a famous couple are another year into happily wedded bliss and not caught up in affairs, divorces or bitter custody battles. Can we have more of this in celebville please.

People call him corny, but the brotha man and husband to one of the biggest selling female artists of all time is very accomplished...and he hasn't even hit 30 yet.

...no need to compare, because compared to Bill Gates & Steve Jobs, Jay-Z and Diddy are broke, so that's neither here nor there. I'm highly doubting anyone reading this blog is on Nick's level so check your bank account before you call anyone broke. How are broke folks gonna call someone richer than themselves broke?

This is a hard working man with more fingers in business related pie holes than the average Joe out there.

He hasn't got x amount of kids by x amount of women. he's not doing prison time. He's not buying up ridiculous amounts of cars and houses from every cheque. Nor is he spending over $100k in clubs on Dom P and Cristal in one night. 

Nick doesn't really flaunt his wealth, and it seems he is secure enough within himself to be married to a highly successful woman 11 years his senior.....but according to a lot of you Nick is broke, and it was Mariah who paid for her ring? Stop the madness!

I like the way Sherri, put Barbara in her place on The View back in October 2009, referring to Nick as being an entrepreneur. You could tell she looked a lil pissed off about her even asking "did Nick Pay for the ring?" How do you even have the gaul to ask Mariah (or any woman that) for that matter?

According to Forbes magazine Nick Cannon's net is worth an estimated $34-39 million, and Mariah worth around $250-$300 million. Based on their careers and success it's easy to to see why, but I'm not going to knock a man who's worth a hell of a lot more than you or I. If he likes it, I love it.

Now to some, people would say his net worth isn't much. Truth is Nick Cannon is a rare breed in Black Celebville. As long as he stays hard working, committed to his businesses and marriage, he's alright by me. From what I see of Nick Cannon so far I wouldn't mind seeing more brothas like him in every walk of life. We should be proud of him and his accomplishments. How many times do black men get press for negativity, and the minute someone pops up like Tyler Perry or Nick Cannon we always have to find SOMETHING to focus on and harp on about. I constantly hear 'coonery' referred to Tyler and 'corny' referred to Nick, but there will be women in droves saddened by Lil Weezy doing jail time and signing damn petitions for his release. Some of you are supporting the wrong brothas I swear!

Send me a Nick Cannon any day, if that's corny I want it. I'll appreciate him. 

He's not afraid to marry a woman more financially affluent and successful than him. 

Has no problem showing and telling the world how much he loves her.

Continues to be a highly successful business man with his 'corny' self cashing those 'corny' checks and driving his 'corny' cars with a brand new 'corny' mansion in LA which he recently purchased with Mariah.

You know there are a ton of highly successful, highly paid black women that would want a brotha that fits the bill like that? Especially one who earns substantially less than his wife and he just doesn't care because he's too busy trying build his own empire. Go get it Nick I wish you the best of luck and anyone else out there trying to be their own boss and build some wealth for themselves.

Nick Cannon: Being His Own Man

Nick Canon says he laughs when people call him "Mr. Mariah Carey." 'That type of stuff is humorous to me," he says. "The 'Mr.Carey' stuff is not an insult to me." Cannon and Carey married two years ago in a top-secret ceremony in The Bahamas that surprised many in and out of Hollywood.

He says if he was not accomplished in his own right, he might worry when people refer to him as just Mariah's husband. "If I were an insecure individual or if that was true, that type of statement—that I am a 'boy toy' or 'yes man' and all that type of stuff—would bother me. "But anybody who knows me or talks to me for five minutes knows clearly that's not the picture," says Cannon, who is 29.

Cannon has established himself as an actor (in the film Drumline, for example); a recording artist and music producer; stand-up comic; radio personality; and TV host of America's Got Talent.

These days, he is also building a business empire. Cannon is the CEO of his own multimedia company, NCredible Entertainment, and chairman of the Teen Nick television network. Still, his marriage to Mariah Carey gets a lot of attention.

The two clicked when Carey cast him as a lover in the video for her single Bye Bye in 2008. They wed soon afterward (JET, May 26 2008). Some said it wouldn't last more than a few months because of their age difference and her megastar status. He's heard all the rumors and speculation about their relationship.

"You can't take any of it seriously. As long as you are strong with who you are and put your family first within your household what people say on the outside is meaningless," Cannon says. "I believe a marriage is a union where two become one. I am not worried about it." He says age is not a factor in their marriage. "On the outside it may look like it, but it never comes up. We both have youthful spirits; we enjoy life."

Cannon says they will have children when "the time is right." "You can't have a family and be all over the world. You've got to focus and get it right," he says.

What Are Mariah and Jermaine Dupri Cookin' Up In The Studio?

My favourite songstress tweeted earlier today a pic of her and producer friend, Jermaine Dupri in the studio working on some new material.

Jermaine first collaborated with Mariah on Always Be My Baby, and they have been fast friends and business associates ever since.

Whether it's a track for the remix album for 'Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel' [I hope not, that's one album we don't need two of] or brand new material...let's hope it's gonna be something worthwhile circulating on the radio stations, clubs and in your cars.

A few weeks into 40 and Mariah is looking beautiful and radiant as ever. Then we have Jermaine looking very umm....what can I say...hobbit-like.

As I type this I'm on mariahdaily.com looking at last night's pics of Mariah and Nick on the red carpet., my Blackberry is on shuffle and on pops Percy Sledge - When A Man Loves A Woman.  No better time than to write this blog post me thinks.

Nick Cannon gets so much slack for being Mr Mariah Carey. Luckily he's a man in his own right who rather than gets insecure about being in a relationship where his wife is more successful and earns more money, he goes out and creates more TV shows, hops on a plane to boost more business in China, puts more movies out, becomes the CEO of Teen Nick, gets more TV work on America's Got Talent, signs new artists, radio host as of tomorrow on NY's 92.3 NOW FM (WXRK-FM), Lord knows what else, and still has time to accompany his beautiful wife down the red carpet at the Golden Globe awards and hold the umbrella over her head whilst the paparazzi takes pictures of her in the rain. And to think Elin Woods was pregnant with Tiger's child and he was off screwing other women, when he should have been by her side holding umbrellas up over her head, rubbing her belly and damn knows what else.

I follow Nick and Mariah on Twitter and the man will go without sleep to catch the red eye flight from LA to New York just to be with Mariah on a TV appearance, then hop back to LA to fulfil his contractual work duties. Mariah will do the same, sit and stay in the DJ booth whilst Nick is working in a club in Vegas or Miami.

It seems that a man doing what a man should and being constantly attentive to his wife is just too much for some people to take or even comprehend. When you're married to your soul mate I don't think holding and guiding your woman to and from the car in 5 inch heels, holding her hand every time you step out and holding an umbrella over her head is too much. What on earth is happening to love and romance in the heads of some people in 2010? You don't like PDA's fine, but he's no more a butler to Mariah than a mother is a maid to her children. You do what you're supposed to do when you take on the role as wife, husband, mother, and father. Some on Twitter last night referred to Nick as Mariah's personal Fonzworth Bentley. I'm sorry I just saw him being an attentive husband to his wife. Funny how the same women will be all up in arms if a man didn't hold the door open for them, or walked off to the car leaving you standing under some shelter whilst it poured down with rain. If Nick had left Mariah standing there getting soaked, the same people would be talking about it's time for her to find a new man. I swear some brothas can't win for trying!

I love men like Nick Cannon I really do. He knows exactly what is being said about him, he makes reference to it that he knows and STILL continues to love both Mariah privately and publicly. I guess it's all manly to talk about how good you are in bed and how many hoes you slept with last night. Please give me the Tevin Campbell days back when a brotha was singing about being ready to love you, wanting to talk to you, getting to know you and what your name is. Or when Aaron Hall was wailing for 6 minutes and 22 seconds about how much he missed you. I don't want to hear about any foolishness that you invented sex, or what size are your breasts and booty cause I just wanna hit it right now. You me and my homies.

Physical support is just as important as emotional support. If I'm feeling a little wobbly in my 4.75 inch heels then yes I'd love for my man to hold to my hand to keep me steady. If it's raining, for him to do whatever he can to stop me from getting wet. Or if I'm sick to look after me till I'm better and vice versa. I want to be steady both physically and emotionally with the man I love, not be with a part-time asshole who's not man enough to show me affection in public and has the time to worry what everyone else is thinking. Make it a 24/7/365 thing.

I said it on twitter last night and I'll say it again. "I'd rather have a Nick Cannon over a Tiger Woods any day!" To a lot of people Nick is corny *raises hand* "I'll take corny over a disrespecting thug please"

Nick and other men like you, continue to hold that umbrella over her head, hold her hand and keep her steady, in every single way possible. It's the little things in a love life that keep it happy. Women need to learn to appreciate these things in men too. Mariah doesn't treat Nick like a lap dog because she's Mariah Carey, she's simply allowing Nick to be a man and care for her and for her not to be Miss Independent screaming "I GOT THIS" every damn minute. I'm sure Mariah can open a car door herself, but ever thought (a) Nick loves doing it for her and (b) she too loves him doing it for her? Ladies, it's not all about what he can BUY you and when you get it, any asshole with enough credit can do that. Assholes don't rub your back, feet and neck, run you a bath, hold an umbrella over your head for you and continue to do it out of the love and admiration they have for you. If it's for ulterior motives, in time it will stop. Only a real genuine man can keep it up. When the money runs out and all you have is each other, kisses and cuddles between the two of you are the best gift ever! And they don't cost a thing.

"Seein' Right Through You Like You're Bathin' In Windex"

I don't think I've ever quoted my own Facebook status in the few years I've been blogging.

"The transparency of certain individuals NEVER ceases to amaze me. So, so, so transparent even Stevie Wonder can see it! To shake my head, laugh or do both?? Rev Run, Joyce Meyer, TD Jakes I've quoted quite a fair bit. Today Facebookers, the quote comes from the one and only..."Seein' right through you like you're bath...in' in windex" -Mariah Carey. Never has such a JOVIAL lyric in a song made SO MUCH SENSE."

It's not about the song 'Obsessed' more so just that line. Yeah the song is fun and light hearted, and the most jovial line in it is the windex line repeated throughout the chorus. When you kick off your shoes and relax your feet, sit and observe, it really is a trip at the lengths some people go to and coninue to go to. Masquerading behind a facade, trying to appear to be the person they are NOT for alterior motives. I can see it, and it's pitiful. It's funny for a millisecond, then just really not so clever after that. Then my temper kicks in and I want to scream "what kind of a fool do you take me for?"

Luckily for me I've learnt to ask for help, whether it's something so small or absolutely huge. Praying boldly is my new thing. The Lord knows my tolerance and patience is very low at most times.

My bold prayer for today will center on that transparent person just getting out of my face...for good. A long trip down some raging rapids with a strong current would be nice also. I don't think God will adhere to that request but the getting out of my face part I'm sure he can handle.

At least with these type of people you are never surprised by their actions. Funny thing is I've been kind of 'warned' by several people about this person. My response was "I already know," they weren't telling me anything I didn't already know. I told y'all I was an observer. I can only watch for so long till you get on my damn nerves that's for sure.

God can fight my battles. I'm sitting this one out. No need for raised blood pressure this early in the morning. I am NOT trying to be Madea, but if I need to be....that side still exists.

Beyoncé 'I Am...' World Tour Concert Review

I will always speak the truth no matter what. And I'm about to speaketh da truffus now.

I don't go to many live shows because I like to spend my money on artists who I believe are worth seeing. I've seen Brandy [don't ask, that was a loooooooooong time ago], Linkin Park with Jay-Z, Mariah Carey [twice], New Kids on The Block, Prince and Beyoncé. Come September I'm going to see Coldplay with Jay-Z at Wembley Stadium.

Mariah is my favourite female artist, Linkin Park my favourite group and Prince my favourite male artist. I saw him at the same venue, London's O2, two years ago and the man was stellar. Just stellar. He's one of those artists if he's doing a show in Vegas or China it's well worth just going and making a vacation out of it. Who would top Prince in terms of entertainment value on stage? It would be hard to top Prince.

Although, Beyoncé topped him, and she trounced Mariah as far as live shows go. Now I've been a Mimi fan for close to 20 years. So you know I'm being unbiased if I'm saying Bey gave a better show than Mariah ever could.

Costumes, stage productions, dancers, vocal ability on stage all hands down beat Mariah. I can't even front. Yes my girl can hit high notes galore, but the power behind Bey's voice, I'll just have to stand up and give her her rightful props. Seriously.

I have all of Mariah live concerts on DVD and VHS [as only true fans would] and the last one 'The Adventures of Mimi' WTF was that? I am STILL MAD about that DVD. I've watched it once and was disappointed as hell, never played it again. Vision of Love performed like what? Stage costumes looking like who? Listen and watch below and see why I'm vex. Mariah has lacked live vocally for some years now. I'll always give her comeback credit and being in the game for so long, and having broken as many records as she has, but after seeing Bey on Monday night, she has nothing to worry about with anyone coming to steal her shine.

It's not until a video montage of Destiny's Child and solo efforts are played that you realise the magnitude of what she's done musically in 12 years and still a few years shy of 30. It dawned on me that this girl literally is a global superstar. But you can't knock her hustle, cause she's doing it, and doing it well.

She strutted, she flew, she dipped, she twerked, she popped, she floated, she got crunk during the 2 hour show as well as delivering vocally on point. The vocals that really stood out for me was during 'Ava Maria' if you've seen the live show, you'll know what I'm talking about.

*Note to Mariah...bring that full voice back, cause the whispers ain't cutting it.

Bey has a very strong and confident voice. Her vocal ability seems effortless, and how she remembers all those dance moves during a show is beyond me.

She performed Single Ladies just like in the video, and came out to a Deja Vu/Crazy in Love medley doing the infamous booty shake dance to the "uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, na na na" parts and gave the crowd what they wanted and then some.

I knew I was going to be entertained at this concert, which is one of the main reasons I bought a ticket. After seeing her in a humble non-Sasha light on the X-Factor with Alexandra Burke in December I started to warm to her a little. I was not a 'hater' of Beyoncé's, I was just a truth talker on 'the forum' if she irked me I made my point clear. I take NONE of it back and won't. I still think after this tour she needs to take a break from the performing and albums for a minute cause too much Bey can be overkill and has been for the past decade or so.

But you know something, I can see why she won't siddown. Just for a second I wish I had pushy parents who forced me to dance and sing and become a huge superstar, because performing that show looked like a hell of a lot of fun. After seeing that would I like to be Bey for a day. I think I would. It was pure energy, even during the ballads.

I think you get the gist that I loved this show, and really do not think it'll be my last Beyoncé concert in my lifetime. I HAVE TO see her again live.

Whether you like her or not, [and I steered toward the 'not so much' side] seeing her live is one of those shows you have to see before she hits MJ status talking about an end of the road tour.

I was on the floor section in B1 and directly to my right I noticed her cousin/PA Angela Beyincé, I also noticed a former Top of the Pops dancer, and also Sade. Yep Sade was in the house. Now this woman needs a new look. Same tired ponytail, red lips and hoop earrings.

She's coming out with a new album this year. *YAWN* I can't stand Sade's music, Americans love her. I find her so, so dry, and her music is only good for background music after a dinner party, where you and your friends are at the coffee stage before calling it a night. The only songs I liked of hers were 'No Ordinary Love' and 'By Your Side.' I remember watching a concert of hers Live in San Francisco, standing there barefoot, looking gorgeous but just dull. Oh my days.

She did look beautiful and flawless, I'll give her that much. Hmmm...but I wonder if she's still wanted in Jamaica?

After all that, I gotta give Ms Knowles her props! A consummate professional and a great show 10/10.

Daniel 'Cloud' Campos

You won't know who he is by name, but you may have recognised him from Madonna videos and tours. He's danced for Mariah Carey and as soon as he took to the stage on Monday night I was like "Oh my God, that's him.!" He's my fave celeb back up dancer crush. Yes, there is such a thing up until now, cause well...I just made it up. He makes watching a Madonna video bearable, and it does help that he can move as well.

I don't know if he's gay or straight. I'm not looking to marry the dude, but I do think he's fine and one hell of a dancer.

Just wanted to give Daniel Campos some props cause from what I have seen him do over the past few years, I've loved it.

He's the lead dancer chef in the music video and the street dancer toward the end [with all the other dancers]
I still wanna know who that sexy dude is that unzips Madonna's jacket at 3:46 in the video.

"Looks Like We Made It!"

I for one this time last year was in complete shock. A die hard Mariah fan aka Lamb for nearly two decades. One minute she's in a long term relationship with Mark Sudack, then next Nick Cannon is her husband.

Ummm OK. I thought this was a joke, others a publicity stunt. I even believed it to be a cover up for a real marriage to Mark Sudack, as Mariah's a very private person when it comes to her personal life. So why all of a sudden was she talking about Nick all the time and even put him in her 'Bye Bye' video.

365 days on I believe it. Took me a while but it's bloody obvious, these two love the hell out of one another whether in photos or on Twitter messages to one another you can tell it's Real Love *singing Mary J in my head now* he's at an airport and can't wait to get home to his wife, and she's at home in bed and can't sleep cause Nick isn't there beside her. Awwww how sweet.

Mariah with the Jack Russell Terrier puppy named Cha Cha, a gift Nick bought her for her 39th Birthday in April.

I gave it 6 months. I was wrong. Not that I didn't want my beloved Mimi to be happy but I thought post Selita and Christina Nick, wasn't the right one, but I guess the old adage rings true "who am I to judge."

Celebrating tonight in Las Vegas with friends is their 1 year wedding anniversary. And I wish them many more. This is one celeb marriage I'm really rooting for. Mariah deserves it and Nick seems to have matured before our eyes both personally and professionally over the past year.
