Rihanna's 'Te Amo' - Don't Get The Lyrics Twisted

Listened to Rihanna's Rated R album and I must say I prefer it over Mariah's latest one that's for sure.

There is a track on the album called Te Amo [I love You] in which she's singing it to a woman. Ooooh watch the blogs and internet sites go crazy with this one. Not an original song mind you, it's been done by James Fauntleroy so this is a cover of a not so classic song. After listening to both I much prefer the Rihanna version.

Bottom line of the song is, Rihanna is resisting the advances of another woman who is in love with her. Rihanna does NOT feel the same. So before folks hear just the 'she' references thinking it's something Rihanna is trying to tell us, how about reading the lyrics to the song first to get the gist of what it's all about. You know how folks on the internet can be. Never satisfied if it's not drama and juicy. Still to this day not sure what Janet Jackson was getting at with the Rod Stewart cover of Tonight's The Night on The Velevt Rope album.

Love this song though, along with Stupid In Love.
