Too many songs. Too many albums. Too many genres to pick just a stand out stellar song that's my favourite. I have so many different songs that I love for so many different reasons. My 'Top Ten' needs to be extended to a Top 100+ I think, because I'm always claiming a song I 'bump into' on a random iPod shuffle as one of my favourites that take me back!
This one in particular is a slow, moody, chilling, yet haunting track called 'Closer' by Kings of Leon. I can definitely call it as my all time favourite of their music catalogue. No matter how many times I listen to it I never tire of it. Someone people on You Tube commented and said they'd love to have sex/make love to the track. I know what they mean. It's a sexy ass sounding song!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this song by KOL. Caleb Followill's voice is unmatched in modern rock music IMO. This has to be my favourite song by them.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I love too many songs to compile any kind of top 10 but just off the top of my head, I'll have 'This Woman's Work' by Maxwell, 'After the hurricane' by Jazmine Sullivan and 'A change is gonna come' by Sam Cooke. There are many, many more though.
I absolutely adore Kings of Leon and this is one of my favorite songs by them:)
